The Legal Support Development Program provides students with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and gain practical experience beyond the classroom. Participants will work alongside experienced business professionals as part of an integrated team, delivering exceptional support to our attorneys, business professionals, and clients. This opportunity is open in our Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and DC office. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Learn and manage various filing systems
  • Prepare legal documents 
  • Create and maintain attorney client files
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with business professionals and attorneys
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
  • Participate in specialized training based on interest and demonstrated competence

 

Academic Requirements

  • Enrolled in a legal studies program, or relevant pre-law major
  • Minimum GPA: 2.5

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong Communication, literacy and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and programs
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Satisfactory completion of baseline assessments

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Use of carts, dollies, and other equipment may be required. 

 

Pay rate: $19/hr
