About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to keep complex engineering initiatives on schedule and moving forward. You'll work directly with our Director of Engineering to manage delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring our team ships high-quality features that serve millions of patients.

This role requires someone who can operate in the technical weeds while maintaining the big picture. You'll coordinate releases, manage dependencies, unblock engineers, and surface risks before they become problems. Your organizational skills and technical fluency will be critical to our ability to move fast without breaking things in a healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

  • Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives that keep teams aligned and productive

  • Track dependencies across multiple engineering workstreams and resolve conflicts proactively

  • Coordinate releases across web, mobile, API, and backend teams

  • Manage cross-team communication and unblock engineers so they can focus on building

  • Track project health using metrics and qualitative signals, surfacing risks early to leadership

  • Document technical decisions, maintain project visibility, and ensure stakeholders stay informed

  • Partner with product managers to translate roadmap priorities into executable engineering plans

  • Facilitate technical discussions and drive decisions when teams need clarity or alignment

  • Maintain project timelines and adjust plans as priorities shift in a fast-moving startup

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of technical project management experience, ideally at high-velocity startups

  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment

  • Comfortable participating in technical discussions without needing hand-holding

  • Experienced with agile/scrum methodologies and know when to adapt processes for maximum impact

  • Excellent communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proactive problem-solver who identifies blockers before they slow teams down

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Collaborative leader who earns trust through competence and follow-through

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare or fintech experience, particularly in regulated environments

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare software development

  • Engineering background or technical degree

  • Experience managing AI/ML product development cycles

  • Knowledge of mobile app development (iOS/Android)

  • Background in API or platform engineering projects

  • Experience with tools like Jira, Linear, GitHub, or similar project management platforms
