Software Developer - Python and Java

Our client is an emerging consulting firm seeking to employ a dedicated DevSecOps Engineer. This position may be offered as a contract, full\-time, or a contract\-to\-permanent arrangement.<\/span>

Your responsibilities will include:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Create applications optimized for cloud\-native environments, ensuring scalability and resilience.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Write, test, and deploy applications with automated pipelines for faster delivery.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Track performance and optimize resources to balance cost and efficiency.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Work with DevOps and IT teams to automate workflows and manage infrastructure.<\/span>

  <\/p>

  Your experience you bring will include:<\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field<\/span>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud, DevOps (GitHub, Azure), or software engineering roles.<\/span>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>Proficiency in DevOps automation (Terraform) and scripting (Python).<\/span>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>Hands\-on experience with containerization (Docker, Azure Container Apps) and cloud\-native architectures.<\/span>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>Microservices, Java, CI\/CD, SQL queries, Dataflow, AWS, GCP or Azure<\/span>
  <\/p>

  •          <\/span>Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance, including API and container security<\/span>
  <\/p>
