Selection Process
Application materials will be screened for completeness and competitiveness. The most competitive candidates may be invited to participate in one or more interviews. Formal offers are contingent upon successfully passing a King County Personnel Record Review or a reference check as part of the pre-employment screening process.
Work Location and Schedule:
This full-time position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. The typical work schedule for this position is between the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The primary work site is located at King Street Center (201 S. Jackson, Seattle, Washington 98104) and may include other bases and worksites throughout King County. The Vehicle Maintenance Data Management team works in a hybrid model, with days in office as well as telecommuting. Currently staff work two days on-site, and the ratio of remote to on-site work will be dependent on business needs (and is subject to change). Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.

Metro Transit's Vehicle Maintenance Division takes pride in meeting our customers' expectations for safe, dependable, clean, and environmentally sound vehicles.
