• Elicit, document, and prioritize data governance requirements including policies, standards, and metrics.

• Define and implement data quality rules, thresholds, KPIs, and remediation processes.

• Support metadata management, business glossary development, and data lineage mapping.
<\/div>
• Translate regulatory and internal policies into actionable controls and procedures.
<\/div>
• Contribute to the design of operating models, including RACI frameworks and governance workflows.
<\/div>
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with data stewards, engineers, and product owners.
<\/div>
• Map current and future state business processes to identify automation and standardization opportunities.
<\/div>
• Maintain governance scorecards, produce executive reports, and support adoption of governance standards.
<\/div>
• Collaborate with data governance engineers to ensure technical documentation and runbooks are complete.

What you will need to succeed:<\/b>

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, computer science, or a related field.
<\/div>
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis with a focus on data governance.
<\/div>
• Proven ability to elicit requirements, map processes, and manage cross -functional stakeholder input.
<\/div>
• Deep understanding of data governance principles including policies, standards, stewardship, and RACI models.
<\/div>
• Proficient with data catalog, lineage, and data quality tools such as Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Purview, and Databricks Unity Catalog.
<\/div>
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
<\/div>
• Strong communication and documentation skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and audit readiness.
<\/div>
• Experience designing workflows, implementing process improvements, and supporting CI/CD -aware environments.
<\/div>
• Demonstrated ability to interpret KPIs, identify anomalies, and generate actionable insights.
<\/div>
• Understanding of basic programming languages (e.g., SQL and Python) is considered an asset.
