Summary  - This is a contingent opportunity and would begin work upon the contract award.

Zeiders Enterprises is seeking a SAPR Learning Specialist to join the CNIC Division as part of the Professional Development and Training Team (PDTT). This team supports government contracts delivering quality of life programming to service members. The SAPR Learning Specialist will work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Contracts Portfolio Manager and Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program to develop and deliver training services and solutions to support to the Sexual Assault Response Workforce (SARW) under the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Program Global Staffing Contract. This individual will be a part of a virtual team, working in a telework environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and facilitate virtual training to civilian and active duty SAPR victim advocates.  
  • Develop both live, instructor-led training as well as on demand, self-paced trainings which adhere to Association for Talent Development’s instructional systems design standards  
  • Delivering training via webinar technologies 
  • Using standard instructional design practices and protocols to produce courseware, to include instructor guides and learner materials;  
  • Instructional systems design; Incorporating learner-centered graphics into training design 
  • Consulting with internal and external customers to determine training needs 
  • Collaborating with team members 
  • Complying with standard corporate and contract requirements such as timekeeping, standard operating procedures, and ethics; 
  • Contributing to the ongoing professional development of all team members. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, social science, or criminal justice PLUS two years of relevant experience  
  • Willingness and ability to obtain D-SAACP certification (which requires Teir III background check)  
  • Experience in victim advocacy. 
  • Experience in developing and delivering training. 
  • Experience as part of a virtual team and in a matrixed environment 
  • Familiarity with web-based instruction and online learning platforms (Adobe connect, Learning Management System). 
  • Knowledge of the military lifestyle and/or community 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills. Must possess Superior writing skills. 
  • High comfort level with the use of technology for communication and task completion. 
  • Ability to function as a trainer/facilitator for Webinar sessions. 
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines. 
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and customers, to include using online collaboration tools. 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology 
  • Current D-SAACP certification or equivalate Victim Advocate certification  
  • Knowledge of the Navy’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program.  
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and military regulations pertaining to victims of sexual assault. 
  • Demonstrated experience with government contracting process through prior work experience. 
  • Experience with production schedules and demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated experiences training and facilitating in a virtual environment. 

Other Skills and Abilities    

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position in accordance with specific federal contract requirements. 
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment and government background investigation to include FBI fingerprints.

Physical Demands. Works in home office area. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Uses personal computer, telephones, copiers, printers and other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
