DescriptionAs a Product Owner/Business Analyst in the Digital Experience and Solutions group, you will play a central role in shaping product direction and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. You will lead the definition of product requirements, manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high‑value features. You will serve as the focal point for product strategy, user story development, backlog prioritization, and delivering products that meet customer needs and support company goals.
As our Product Owner, a typical day might include:
- Developing and maintaining a well‑prioritized Product Backlog that reflects customer and business priorities.
- Translating product vision into actionable user stories and minimum viable product definitions.
- Apply Business analysis techniques (process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder interviews) to identify opportunities and define solutions
- Working closely with the Development Team to clarify requirements and ensure shared understanding.
- Sequencing backlog items to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, manage expectations, and ensure transparency.
- Guiding the team to focus on the highest‑value work to maximize product impact.
- Participating in team planning and review meetings to ensure work items are well-defined and ready for development.

What you'll bring:
Required:
- A degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in utility industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a complex product backlog.
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- A collaborative mindset and customer‑first approach to product development.
- Knowledge of business systems like Customer Care and Billing (CCB) and/or Georgia Customer Management Application (GCMA).
Preferred:
- At least 2 years of experience working on Agile teams
- Technical understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and related tools.
- Knowledge of business systems like IVR, GAMI, Click, Asset Repository.
