The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the context, needs, or business processes of the client within the scope of moderately complex filesâprojects that may require integration across one or more business domains. They engage with stakeholders, end-users, and contributors, and are responsible for ensuring overall project compliance with business needs and organizational objectives. They identify, design, and recommend business solutions, and analyze the impact of these solutions on the organization. Within the context of projects, they collaborate on defining business objectives, establish the scope of solutions, and support the Project Manager in making key decisions. They are responsible for ensuring the alignment of solutions with business objectives and operational requirements. They are also responsible for the end-to-end integration of business solutionsâfrom the initial business requirements definition phase through to deployment.
More specifically, the role entails documenting the current state of a business process (using techniques such as SIPOC, context diagrams, Visio, registers, etc.) that is critical to the organization, with the aim of providing clarity regarding the process and formulating recommendations. The primary objective is to identify optimization opportunities to enhance the process.
